A varied program marking the 5th anniversary of the Mondial FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2012 6 PM - OFFICIAL OPENING The first 100 visitors to the cider producers festival tent will be served a complementary ice cider shooter in an ice glass! Simultaneous opening of the new agri-food exhibitors festival tent and the outdoor activity areas—including the Oasis Ice Castle with slides for children. 9 PM - ROUGEMONT FIREWORKS On opening night, the municipality of Rougemont has associated itself with the Mondial des cidres de glace to offer festivalgoers a dazzling pyrotechnic and light show. 9:15 PM - OPENING SHOW The Mondial des cidres de glace welcomes festivalgoers, acknowledging local culture and marking its 5th Anniversary celebration by presenting Bernadette , an energetic Quebec folk rock group. TASTINGS UNDER THE CIDER PRODUCERS AND AGRI-FOOD TENTS In their respective festival tents, 24 of the best cider producers in Quebec and 24 agri-food exhibitors invite you to discover their unique products. SAQ BISTRO AND SAQ TERRACE, REST AREAS AND FOOD SERVICE AREAS WITH MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT The SAQ Bistro and SAQ Terrace are in the new (heated) agri-food festival tent. Take a break in these rest areas and food courts and enjoy the music. OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT Children will love the Oasis Ice Castle , another new attraction. Between slides they can quench their thirst with popular Oasis fruit juices. Professional sculptor Julien Doré will amaze the crowds with his astonishing dexterity and creative talent as he makes ice sculptures on the spot.
